The hotel is in a quiet location, with a marvellous and easy-to-reach spot close to everything. Nearby are some excellent restaurants, including the Shiraz Restaurant & Bar, a great place to chill out. The staff were very welcoming, and the room was functional 

The staff were super friendly. I had a good-sized room with a king bed and a balcony. The location was wonderful, just a short stroll away from an award-winning museum.

Central spot, just a 5-minute stroll to Reef Hq. Awesome pool area to chill out! 🏊‍♂️

Had a pleasant overnight stay on a business trip and would return. The rooms were beautifully presented and brand-new with quality bedding. The balcony was a nice addition to the room. The location was the best possible, just a 4-6 minute 

The rooms have great air conditioning, offer amazing views, and the staff are friendly and dedicated to providing excellent service.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, being close to bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a market. I stayed for only one day but didn't want to leave, I would definitely choose to stay here again.

The hotel has a great and easy location next to a listed public art gallery. The area is fantastic, just a short walk to Townsville's business district with easy access to quality restaurants and cafes. Good bar/restaurants are nearby for convenience. 

The hotel's employees are outstandingly accommodating and provide a high standard of service. The room was good sized and well laid out with a particularly nice view of the ocean. The hotel's location is great and lovely,

For the price we paid, Hotel Grand Chancellor was definitely worth it. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities we needed, like towels and a soap dish. The separate cooking and relaxing area was a nice touch, 

The balconies in the upper floors did not look very safe. The breakfast in the restaurant was the worst of our trip. Toast and muesli, otherwise everything else cost extra.

This hotel is in a great location, right in the centre of town. It's within walking distance of many great restaurants and all the planned activities for teens. The rooms have wonderful views and the beds are extremely comfortable. The
